software solutions for the telecommunications industry.
As a User Experience Designer, you will help evolve and improve the usability and design of their software. Apply your
expertise to understand end-user workflows and design interfaces that are intuitive and easy for our customers to use.
You will work closely with development and product teams, providing direction and consultation and being the advocate
for the user. Your ability to interact well and fit into a small, highly motivated and agile team is essential. Should this

Essential Functions
- Understand product specifications and user psychology
- Create personas through user research and data
- Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends.
- Proficient in design software(e.g. UXPin, Balsamiq).
- A strong portfolio of successful UX and other technical projects is essential.
- Help develop the visual appearance and behavior of new features and enhancements
- Design UI’s using .NET web technologies, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and UI Control frameworks
- Initiate, suggest, and spearhead UI re-factorings for a more intuitive user-experiences
- Act as a user-advocate during the development process, subjecting early-stage designs to usability testing or expert
- review, and offering iterative refinement suggestions
- Act as “go to” with in-depth knowledge of user interface best practices and standards.
- Develop wireframes, mock-ups, workflow diagrams and other visuals to aid in iterative design
- Work collaboratively within an agile product team to deliver best-in-class experiences through iterative releases
- Present your design methods, explorations, and trade-off rationale along with a recommendation to team
- stakeholders and product leadership
- Evaluate competitive and innovative products and design approaches to identify best practices and encourage
- innovation to position our product as the most usable and efficient in the market
- Maintain detailed UI Style and Design documentation.
- Establish positive and collaborative relationships with internal clients and demonstrate a clear understanding of
- both internal and external requirements and performance criteria.
- Ability to travel 10% by car and/or plane, may include weekend travel. Ability to travel internationally is required for some positions. Current passport and valid driver’s license required.
Your Responsibilities
We recognize that there are many paths to becoming a great User Experience Developer. Some of the traits and
experience representing the ideal candidate for this position are:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in web application development, UI Design or similar
- Incredible passion for user experience (UX) and usability.
- Solid experience in usability paradigms, design patterns and responsive designs with a focus on enterprise apps
- Able to simplify and reduce complexity is a must! Design elegant solutions to complex problems.
- Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and other web scripting languages and an understanding of how
- design choices translates in development
- Advanced visual design understanding with an awareness of the impact of typography, layout and composition,
- color theory, grid systems and line of business user controls
- Ability to communicate effectively with wire frames, mock-ups, in writing, verbally and as a presenter
- Ability to articulate creative UI solutions and be the expert voice for usability
- Advanced ability to conceive and document solutions through user flows, storyboards, wireframes, personas,
- prototypes, test cases, or written specifications and user stories
- Additional Skills Considered a Plus but not required for Consideration
- Experience with Adobe illustrator and Balsamic or similar tools
- Experience with web development, preferable with ASP.NET MVC or Angular
- Experience working with agile design and development teams
- A professional and personal portfolio of application user experience examples
- Experience with Responsive Design or grid frameworks such as bootstrap etc.
ADA Requirements
General office environment: Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking for up to 10%
of the time. The working environment is generally favorable. Lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no
hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc. Work is generally performed within an office
environment, with standard office equipment available.
Physical Demands: Manipulate, handle, feel, and control items or equipment; able to read, write, and interpret written
documents; occasionally lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
